As the 1st year of my daughter's life flew by in the blink of an eye, I knew I wanted to cleberate her first brithday with all of our friends and family. We knew instantly, this puppy loving family would do a puppy paw-ty to remember! Cali and Camo (the 2 puppy members of our family), were our inspiration in bringing this theme to life! I wanted this party to be one that we would look back on and never forget. As I started to look for the "right" puppies for the theme of this party, I realized that most of them were geared towards loud primary colors and cartoon pups. This wasn't the look that I had envisioned, so when I found the artwork for the puppies I liked, I had several details of the party designed to match them! I find that small details like this makes a party truly one of a kind. Parties and events should be cenetered around the details that make your guests feel welcomed and delighted. Here are a few things to remember when hosting an event and things that your party planner will plan and execute for you should want the help: - Solidify the theme of the event 4-5 weeks in advance. This will give you the time you need for any special order items - Send out invites about 4 weeks in advance to give your guests enough time to plan the event into their schedule - Plan your food. The food is the heart of the event and it's where your guests will gather -Decorations are imporatnt to bring your theme to life, but sometimes in this space, less is more. You do not need a lot to make an event feel complete. Also, your food, when presented well can double as decorations - Lastly, a well thought out party favor for your guests to pick up as they leave you event will leave the lasting impression Check out the Parties & Event page for more images from this event.
